The wings, chicken tenders and the seafood dinners are really good. It is a bit more expensive than other local restaurants but sometimes you get what you pay for. Update 3/13/24 tater tots are now on the menu. I did try them on this date. They were just okay, needed to be cooked longer. In the future I would stick with the fries or ask the server if you could have your tots fried a little crispier.
I was running late today, so let me begin by saying it was my own fault! But the service was friendly and the food was tasty! A little pricey but honestly with the price. And definitely try the Cole slaw!! I got fried shrimp with tater tots and it was terrific. I only gave service four stars because the food took a bit longer than expected. But as I said I was running late so in any other case I wouldn't have minded a bit. Overall, I'd definitely come back!

Recommend on a list from holiday inn express! Delicious would stop there again! Service and food was delicious! We order the fish dinner and scallops! Tarter sauce homemade excellent!
amazing restaurant! This restaurant was packed when we arrived. Our waitress was very friendly. The food was very delicious. French fries were very crispy. We left very full and happy.
I'm from out of town. A local recommended this place. I can't say enough good things about it. The server was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the shrimp sandwich (pictured). Everything was hot and tasted super fresh. The beer was ice cold and the prices were in line with with the quality of the food and service. Next time I come through Live Oak I'll be stopping at the Brown Lantern.
Great local restaurant with a bar. Good choices on the menu and fair prices. Clean and neat. Great service (Cheyenne). I had the fish special, available Mon thru Thur, and it was excellent. Just traveling through but would definetely go back if in the area again.
I was quite happy to find this restaurant while traveling on business. Great food, good drinks, friendly and seemingly happy staff. I had a great meal, left full, and the meal was at a great price.
